The gold and silver can be purchased from SWP and is stored in an account in the client's name at a secure Brinks facility in Calgary, Alberta. The investment qualifies for the tax benefits of the selected registered account.
Step 1 - Open a Questrade account quickly and easily online.
Step 2 - Download and complete the Dealer Authorization Form, electing SWP as your precious metals dealer.
Step 3 - Fund your Questrade account with cash or transfer an existing registered account from another financial institution. Then, contact SWP to place your precious metals order.

You can purchase Canadian Maple Leaf coins (gold or silver), gold bars (1 oz, 10 oz, or 1 kg), and silver bars (10 oz or 100 oz).
Your gold and silver bullion is stored in a separated account in your name, at a secure Brinks facility in Calgary, Alberta.
The annual storage fee is 1.29%. The fee is calculated and charged monthly, based on gold and silver holdings in client account at month’s end.

Yes. Moving or transferring an account is easy. In addition, Questrade will pay any transfer fees up to CAD $150 when you move a minimum of CAD $25,000 from another brokerage to your new Questrade account. Learn more about transferring to a Questrade account.
